KOATES is a London based songwriter/artist. He studied at Berklee College of Music in Boston, USA where he began his journey into songwriting.

KOATES has written with the likes of Lily Ahlberg (Polydor), Fickle Friends (Cooking Vinyl), Gary Go (Benni Benassi, Rhianna), Hudson Taylor, Dutchkid (Sony), Jalle (Warner), Dan D’Lion (Insanity), Edd Holloway (Lewis Capaldi, Dean Lewis). His music is regularly featured on BBC Radio 1, Apple Music 1 and TV Shows Love Island, Made in Chelsea.
